Happy New Year 2014

 

This is going to be my last post for this year. I think it’s not late for me to wish Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2014. Ugh, can’t believe time flies so fast this year. Strangely, I find that time goes faster when we are having holidays. Hmm, never expect my holiday will come to an abrupt end tomorrow ( I still need to recharge myself before going back to my work place). Honestly I don’t feel like holiday (work my a** off during holiday, It does take its toll and I was drained from energy). Nevertheless, I hope you have a blissful Christmas and holiday out there (envying my friends holiday trips..)  

 

Looking at this year’s achievements, I guess I have done my best to better myself. Learned new stuffs along the way and gained some of the most unforgettable experience in my life. To those who have been hurt by my actions, I sincerely apologize.

 

Next year will be a whole new story. Hopefully my ‘ongoing project’ will finish by next year and I can proudly share with you guys here. Besides, I’m thinking of ending next year with special addition in my life..:) I won’t ask too much in New Year’s resolution ‘cause I know I’m really bad in making it happen.

Lastly, from the bottom of my heart, millions thanks to those who have supported me all this while. You have stood with me in ups and downs and never get tired of my attitudes...

MU vs RM

It is suppose to be a dream final match for Champion’s League this season but the history has been made that two of the biggest club in this world meet at quarter final. Instead of one thrilling final match, we had two back to back match of Manchester United versus Real Madrid within three weeks. Yes, I prefer they meet at quarter final than the final itself.  

 

Santiago Barnabeu Stadium witness the first encounter which ended 1-1. An out of nowhere goal from Welback and the astonishing header from Ronaldo sealed the first match. It’s a good result for MU as a visiting team but they were lucky enough to escape with a draw. Hopefully they can win the final encounter at the Theatre of Dreams soon.

 

I woke up early this morning just to watch this match and having no sport channel in Astro, I ended up watching it online…huhu

 

 

Statistically, Real Madrid has the upper hand against United and it worries me a lot.

 

 

 

 

Judging from the match, most of us are waiting for Christiano Ronaldo and Robin Van Persie. Eventually, Ronaldo steals the show this morning. As much as I love Ronaldo, I was hoping that he won’t find the net against his club but apparently he didn’t care. Robin van Persie had two chances but luck wasn’t by his side.

 

 

 

 

 

Real had 14 attempts (4 attempts from Ronaldo) on target and 14 attempts (6 attempts from Ronaldo) off target. It shows how significant Ronaldo to Real is. MU had 9 attempts (4 attempts from RVP) on target and 4 attempts off target. Hopefully, Sir Alex would try to work things out with Manchester United.

 

Lastly, I’ll stick with my United team inside out as usual. Glory glory man united…

2013 AD

I’m writing my last post for this year…J I can’t believe that we are going for 2013! This year has been a blessed year for me. I’d achieved some of my dreams and pushing myself to the most this year and for that I’m really proud of myself. As you know that today is the last day of the year 2012, I want to thank the special people who have touched my life with their concern and made my life more meaningful (you are one of them). Thanks for your contribution to my life and may God almighty continue to give you abundant blessing and happiness in the coming years too.

2013 is approaching within 24 hours but I’ve made some resolutions for this coming new year…(made it but never 100% accomplish! haha).

1. Spend More Time with Family & Friends

I vow to appreciate loved ones and spend more time with family and friends this year. Make plans to meet up with friends for an evening of hi tea or take the family to an interesting trip (it doesn’t matter if it is near or not as long as we had fun!). Work shouldn't always come first!

 

2. Fit in Fitness

As my age number has direct correlation with the number of years, this resolution is inevitable! The evidence is in for fitness. Regular exercise has been associated with more health benefits than anything else known to man. Studies show that it reduces the risk of some cancers, increases longevity, helps achieve and maintain weight loss, enhances mood, lowers blood pressure, and even improves arthritis. In short, exercise keeps myself healthy and makes me look and feel better. Why not make this the time to start getting in shape for you as well? Sports (jogging, volleyball, football…) have become my evening workout every day.

 

3. Enjoy Life More

Given the hectic, stressful lifestyles I had, it is no wonder that "enjoying life more" has become my popular resolution in recent years. It's an important step to a happier and healthier me! It’s not only limited like taking products designed to bring balance to my body, mind and soul or just get out and try something new! I’d take up a new hobby like photography. It isn’t an expensive hobby so I’ll try perfecting my skills in photography next year.

 

4. Managing My Debt/Financial

Money was a big source of stress in my life every year. I need to resolve some of my monthly debt (no thanks to study loan, car loan, etc…) and spend the year getting a handle on my finances. Investment is my priority and it's a promise that will repay itself many times over in the year ahead.

 

5. Help Others

Ok. It’s a popular, non-selfish New Year's resolution, volunteerism can take many forms. Whether I choose to spend time helping out at my town, mentoring a student, or building a house, there are many nonprofit volunteer organizations that could really use my help (subject to my availability…hehe). If my time is really in short supply, maybe I can at least find it in me to donate blood, clothing and other household items that I’m no longer need, rather than leaving them out by the curb to fill up landfills.

 

6. Get Organized

On just about every New Year resolution top ten list, organization can be a very reasonable goal. I need to live a more organized life. No I don’t need a counselor to help me with this but adjusting and tweaking some of my die hard habit will do just fine.

Back to square one

Yes, I'm back to square one. Nothing seems to go right and I think part of it is because of my own fault. Nevertheless, It won't stop me to enjoy my life as I take it as another test by GOD...

 

 

I'm letting it go and hope for a brighter future, a future where I can stand tall and never be ashamed of what I've achieved...

 

 

 

 

I haven't come out of my comfort zone yet and explore other possibilities, and I'm going to start now...There are magics waiting to happen and I know I'm getting closer...next year I shall proves that LOVE, PATIENCE and HAPPINESS are my favourite words!

 

 

 



Selamat Hari Gawai 2012

This is the 'bebiau' prayer in Iban, a prayer when the 'elder' swinging a live chicken around...I'm not good at this ceremony but i find this prayer very realistic and fresh..sorry but i can't translate every word cause it's sooooo looong plus my Iban is very poor...:)..(taken from dayakbaru...)

Used vs Loved

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr. old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father.....with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'

The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times. Devastated by his own actions...sitting in front of the car he looked at the scratches; the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'. Imagine that....

Anger and Love have no limits; choose the Love to have a beautiful, lovely life.

Things are to be used and people are to be loved, but the problem in today's world is that: people are used and things are loved. Let's be careful to keep this thought in mind: "Things are to be used, but People are to be loved".

Be yourself.... This is the day we HAVE. Make it a GREAT day!

Goodbye 2010, Welcome 2011

 Hello, I’m still dizzy as I’m writing this(thanks to beers n bicardi just now, 30/12/2010). Tonight we are celebrating new year and before that, I would like to look back what I have achieved this year. Well, straight to the point, I don’t think I achieve anything significant apart from small achievements, easily counted with my fingers. In terms of workload, it’s getting busier, hectic, crazy, frustrating and too many absurd demands. I guess that’s how it goes when you work with an INCOMPETENT boss right? *ahem! Let’s skip the work(i’m still working today, on 31^st, on public holiday, declared by PM yesterday).

My health, so far, has been amazing. I know I’m still young but the fact that no serious illness coming means I still can enjoy my life. Thank God I’m able to do what I want and growing to experience some of the most invaluable lessons in life. I foresee that next year’s going to be hell challenging and I need my health in top form. Waking up at 5.30 a.m and work my butt to 10.00 pm(maybe), 24/7.

Love life, not a good time to discuss (after some horrible experiences) but I can see how my family has helped me out during my crisis, supported me in every way they can and keeping their faith in me. I admit I made mistakes but family support has given me strength to face the music.

Gettin' started..

     Hi everyone..this is the my first post in my blog. Well, it's my first time blogging and i'm kind of like a new kid on the block!Hahaha..I guess i should take this opportunity to share some of my thoughts, my life's (in)experiences, interests etc. Since i'm a  nobody i guess i won't have many followers out there but then again it doesn't matter. It's worth enough to express myself and doing what i love the most.

    As a newbe, i promise myself that i won't talk crap in my blog and try to be a responsible *ehem blogger. In fact, i'll try my best not to write more than 250 words next time. Why? well i have read and followed some of the blog out there and to be honest, i felt asleep after 3 minutes of reading..sorry but that's the truth. It took me awhile before i have the courage to start a blog of my own with my own ingredients. 

   So that's about it. I apologise for any grammar mistakes and i'l try to improve myself in the future. Hopefully, i can give back(if any), inspiring people and learning new meaning of blogging..see you next time. Till then, have a good day ahead!
