Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson

Flexing his muscle...
(this is going to be one of my longest post...)

Yes, one of my favorite wrestler of all time is Dwayne Douglas Johnson (born May 2, 1972), also known by his ring name The Rock. He is an American actor and professional wrestler who is signed to the WWE, appearing on the Raw brand. He is often credited as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

As a teenager, I grew up watching WWF (now WWE), almost never missed an episode. Believe me, even when the show is at 11 p.m, I’ll make sure I’d watch it! He’s is the reason I like wresting from then on...so who is this guy?? Johnson was a college football player. In 1991, he was part of the University of Miami's national championship team. He later played for the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League, and was cut two months into the 1995 season.

His early debut in WWF...

He gained mainstream fame as a wrestler in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), originally known as the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), from 1996 to 2004, and was the first third-generation superstar in the company's history. Johnson was quickly given a push as a heroic character in the WWF, originally billed as "Rocky Maivia", and then as "The Rock". Two years after he joined the WWF, Johnson won the WWF Championship, and became one of the most popular wrestlers within the company's history for his engaging interviews and promos. Johnson is regarded by many as the greatest talker in professional wrestling history.

The People’s Champ!!
Johnson is widely considered one the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He won a total of 16 championships in WWF/E. This included nine World Heavyweight Championships (the WWF/E Championship seven times and the WCW/World Championship twice), two WWF Intercontinental Championships, and five times as co-holder of the WWF Tag Team Championships. He was the sixth WWF/E Triple Crown Champion, and the winner of the 2000 Royal Rumble.
Johnson's first leading role as an actor was in The Scorpion King in 2002. For this film, he received the highest salary for an actor in his first starring role, earning $5.5 million (that is quite an achievement!). He has since appeared in several blockbuster movies such as The Rundown, Be Cool, Walking Tall, Gridiron Gang, The Game Plan, Get Smart, Race to Witch Mountain, Planet 51, Tooth Fairy, Doom, Why Did I Get Married Too?, The Other Guys, Faster, and most recently Fast Five starring opposite Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.

Alongside Goldberg and Stone Cold Steve Austin in 2010...
His last match in WWE was in Survivor series where he took part in a Tag Team Match alongside his Wrestlemania 28 opponent John Cena at the 25th anniversary of Survivor Series on November 20 (it feels great to watch The Rock in action again, and the people’s elbow, never feels bored watching it). Next year I can’t wait to watch his latest film, G.I Joe! At the same time, wrestle mania 28 is coming up where he’ll face John Cena..(ahh, I’ll bet on The Rock).
Survivor Series...

Ready to give The Miz the taste of The People’s Elbow...

Hahaha, everybody loves this!

Wrestle Mania 28 official poster....

By the way, I would like to share with you guys the meaning of The Rock’s tattoo...yeah, his tattoo are awesome! Seriously, if I am to have a tattoo, I’d make a tattoo similar to his tattoo...
Polynesian tattoo...
The Rock has two tattoos. One is a modern single design on his right upper arm of a bull. However, his second tattoo was a departure from modern tattoo design, being a traditional Samoan style of tattoo all over his left shoulder.
The bull head tattoo on Johnson’s right arm corresponds to his Western zodiac birth sign of Taurus, the Bull. The tattoo is a long-horn type of steer and is a fairly straightforward outline style of design. The eyes of the bull are also colored in red. The tattooing on his left arm and shoulder is traditional Samoan style tattooing, done by an artist in Hawai’i.
It incorporates traditional tribal patterns and symbols representing Johnson himself, his wife and daughter, his family and spirit guides. This extensive half sleeve wraps all the way around the upper arm, over the shoulder and onto the chest. A later session extended the section on his chest, adding a large symbolic warrior face over his heart. It is a Polynesian tattoo (basically Marquesan) that he had done in Hawaii sometime in February of 2003 by Po’oino Yrondi – a famous Tahitian tattooist.
What Does Dwayne’s Polynesian Tattoo Mean? In early 2003, Dwayne traveled to Hawaii to have his family history tattooed on him—a Samoan tradition. Here he reveals the meanings of his tattoo.

A) These are coconut leaves, or niu, which denote a Samoan chief-warrior.
B) This is the sun which brings good fortune.
C) This isa/ga fa’atasi (three people in one), That’s me with my arms open. As it continues on my chest, it connects to my o lo’u to’a/ua (my wife, Dany) and my o lo’u afafine (my daughter, Simone Alexandra).
D) These descending swirls represent past, present and future, with the future becoming ever bigger. The pattern continues under my arm, where its meaning is written: “It changes in the place where it is found to be gone.”
E) These two eyes, called o mata e lua, represent my ancestors watching over my path.
F) This is the Great Eye, It’s an intimidating symbol that allows its user to possess the spirit of his enemy. The eye is used to distract the enemy in a confrontation.
G) This broken face, marked by shark teeth—a symbol of strength—is my spirit protector and a symbol of my struggle.
H) This is the priest and spiritual guide, who raises a warrior to enlightenment and supernatural power under the eyes of the warrior’s ancestors.
I) These are stones of achievement and abundance. They’re the foundation of my life and symbols of my dedication. They bring the right to stand and speak with honor as a Tula Fale—a high talking chief—and they maintain mana, or supernatural power.
J) This is a tortoise shell, to deflect evil spirits. Warriors used shells as shields.
It took between 15-20 hours to have done (not counting his chest that was done afterward). According to Dwayne, when you get a tattoo like this, it tells the story of his life and what he represents, what’s important in his life from strength to protection to loyalty to family. It tells a story from beginning to end. During the process of receiving this tatoo he along with his cousin Tanoa’i, who also got a tattoo of the same magnitude that took 24 hours, sat around with other cousins and friends and talked about the story of his heritage as well and played music and sang in order to take their minds off of the pain of getting the tattoo.

Sparkling New Teeth

I was accompanying my brother in law the other day, visiting a private dental clinic as he had toothache and were unable to chew properly. I was attracted to the ads on the wall, promoting a whitening toothpaste. I like coffee so much that sometimes I forgot to care about my teeth..yeah, guilty as charged! We went back later on, with me feeling more cautious about my teeth.

Everyone wants that dazzling, bright-white, picture-perfect smile, that tells those you come in contact with that here is a winner. Movie stars and starlets have that smile (specifically, white teeth). For some, it is natural, and for others, they have probably have to resort to finding the best whitening product or see a professional cosmetic dentist to get the “Look”(for instant result…). One of the most popular methods of whitening your teeth is with whitening toothpastes(cheap, but takes longer time to get result…).

A million dollar question: What is the best whitening toothpaste? Nearly every brand has its own top selling toothpaste and advertises that it will whiten your teeth while also being healthy for your teeth. Just like brushing with fluoride.

With so many choices available, how do you know which is the best whitening toothpaste for you? If you already have a favorite brand, and you are happy with the results, then you may want to stick with that brand. You can find whitening toothpastes in several brands, such as Colgate total, Aquafresh, and Darlie to name just a few.

These toothpastes usually contain mild abrasives to remove surface stains. One of the abrasive ingredients commonly used is baking soda (which also helps to prevent bad breath). They may also have special chemicals or polishing agents that are more effective at stain removal than regular toothpastes.
With regular and sustained use over time, these toothpastes can be effective in removing surface stains. The best whitening toothpaste for you would be one that does not irritate the gums over extended periods of time. While whitening toothpastes are good, they are not meant to actually bleach your teeth.
You can dazzle people with your smile with diligent continuous care and daily brushing. It takes long term usage of any toothpaste to get and maintain the best results. Whitening toothpaste is one of the least expensive methods of whitening your teeth as you most likely buy and use toothpastes on a regular basis.
If you are considering whitening toothpaste, then there are a few things you should consider;
  • Some of the advanced whitening toothpastes contain peroxide at a minimal amount and is not harmful when swallowed.
  • The abrasives in these toothpastes can dull the surface of dental crowns and veneers over long periods.
  • Some of the abrasive ingredients in whitening toothpastes are calcium carbonate, baking soda, silica, and aluminum oxide.
  • It is important to know the ingredients in toothpastes; should you have a sensitivity or reaction to the product.
  • All toothpastes help to whiten just by fact of daily scrubbing the surface stains away, but only the whitening toothpastes have bleaching agents.
When it comes to making a decision, what is the best whitening toothpaste out there? For me, I prefer Colgate Whitening toothpaste. It contains baking soda and Peroxide for extra whitening power, as well as Fluoride to fight cavities and tartar and to protect your teeth and gums.

It is great to open your day with this outstanding toothpaste, and feel ready for another successful day. What else can you ask from a toothpaste? Try it, I’m sure you’re gonna love it.

Please be my girlfriend

I'm getting tired with the same question. When will you get married? Hmmm..even I don't have the answer so how am i suppose to answer that question? What do you expect? Marriage requires a huge commitment. Do i have any candidate? Nah!! My work doesn't permit me to sociallise too much(seriously)..My work is really time consuming. I barely had any rest. It's more about clerical work when it doesn't suppose to..so, when do i have time to sociallise and make new friends(or find my Ms Right)??.

Since i don't have much time making friends, i think i should adopt the last method in my mind. Ladies out there, please fill in this form and inbox me, ok? Thanx! :)

I need this camera!

I went for window shopping the other day to survey the latest camera out there. There were so many choices but one particular camera had caught my attention. Why? This is why...

The native tribe can't escape from this camera....

even the ghost can't hide themselves...

yeah..forget about peeking dude!u'r on candid camera!hahahaha

Holiday like no other

Yes, today i'm heading back to my uncivillise working environment(i don't know how did i manage to survive without internet connection, poor communication services, zero entertainment, etc all these years). It's gona be my second year running coming back to my work place where almost all my colleagues are enjoying their holiday including my bos. *Sigh... I don't want to complain much as I ask for it initially. It's true when people said at some point of your carreer, you'll feel burnout as you are doing the same thing over and over again. Nothing new on the plate, the same old thing to the extend that switching job crosses my mind...yeah..or maybe a new working environment. Is it because i'm getting old or the job just getting bored(too much politics involve and unnecessary work load)!?. Perhaps all i need is just another away trip(with a little shopping..gheehehe) from my work place, just to recharge myself. Hmm, in the mean time, i'll just finish my last task this week and get ready for another adventurous year end..Till then, happy sunday READERS!

my new wallpaper..this should keep my mind focus for a little longer..

Sex attack

Wow!!Hahaha...It's always the strangest news that kept me smiling non stop with some naughty imagination. It's very seldom to hear news like this but once in a while, this shocking news is just right to be shared as it shows how wierd people can be. What's the news I'm talking about? Well here it is reader:

Zimbabwean Authorities have arrested three women for allegedly committing at least a dozen "ritualistic sex attacks" on male hitchhikers over a two-year period. For their rituals, the women reportedly collected used condoms and stashed them in "the boot of a car."

After the boyfriend of one of the accused—twentysomethings Rosemary Chakwizira, Netsai Nhokwara, and Sophie Nhokwara—became involved in a fatal car accident while driving the condom car, the three women showed up to the scene and, the New Zimbabwe reports, "asked police officers to be allowed to retrieve 31 condoms—some with semen." Awkward. The request made the police suspicious, and the women plus the boyfriend were "immediately" arrested.

The correlation between the sex attacks and the condoms isn't exactly clear. Maybe these women just liked to collect used condoms for their sexual history scrapbooks, and had nothing to do with raping hitchhikers. So far there's no indication that any victims have come forward to identify the women as their assailants, though police are now hoping to begin the identification process and also test the condoms for DNA. For now, the way the press has described the women makes their arrests seem slightly witch-hunty.

To me, why would the victim come forward and put their assailants in jail? I'm guessing they don't mind when they were 'raped'...when they have nothing to lose!Hahaha..
