Alright readers, sorry for the delay. I’ve been busy for the past few days and with this little time to spare, I want to take this opportunity to update this LEAK! Well, before I explain the picture above let me introduce my family first. I have six siblings (including me) and my parents stay here in our hometown. I’m the youngest (yeah, you read that right) and the oldest of us is 42 yr-old. Most of my friends didn’t know that I had a twin. Now, at the age of ‘twenty plus’, he found his new twin! J He was full of the joys and spring.

The picture above is a part of the engagement ceremony held at the ‘bride’ home. To all my friends out there, it WASN’T my engagement ceremony so you may take a long breath of relief..hahaha. Honestly, with this opportunity I would like to welcome the latest addition to our family. Welcome sister! Welcome to our crazy family. I wish you both all the best and may this coming Xmas bless your relationship with everlasting love and happiness..*grinning from ear to ear

The Warded Man

Hey there..I’m going to have a little trip with my family and since I won’t have much time to blog till xmas(it’s xmas time and I’m busy 24/7), I’m thinking of leaving something for you here and just to be sure that my blog doesn’t bore you to death…I just finished reading The Warded Man(an epic fantasy novel) and it blew me away!Phew!

A RM34.90 novel prove to be a worth buy and as far as I’m concern, it somewhat gives me inspiration to explore my creativity more. If there is any lesson to learn from this novel, it’s about how we tend to run away from our problems rather than facing it. By running away, we keep ourselves so occupies with what we are fighting against, and forget what we are fighting for. For those who have never touched any novel before, I suggest you pick up one and start reading. At first I thought that reading novel was a waste of time..how very wrong I was proved to be! I started picking up novel this year and enjoy it immensely..so much that I think I wouldn’t stop after this..     

Art of Beauty

Some of you might realize that I didn’t really blog much about local content in my blog. Well, I plan to write more about things around Malaysia or specifically, Sarawak next time. As for now, let me share one of my favourite topic, ART. Apart from songs and movies, I do like creative works. I admire some of the best and talented artist in the world that can create an art with jaw dropping values..Hardly we find artist in Malaysia with such talent but I hope my entry this time would open up and encourage younger generation to get involve in creative art. I’m not an artist but I appreciate art very much. Let me introduce a young Russian artist who can create marvellous dolls which strike with tremendous detalization and expression..

Yes..that’s right, I’m not a doll person but to see such a unique doll(again I don’t fancy teddy bear!) makes you want to own one of this. Let’s check more of her art..

Life@17

With SPM coming to an end, the student must be in an over the moon phase. Yes, we all have gone through that phase years ago. I still remember my last day after my SPM where me and my friends went straight to cc(cyber café) playing computer games!hahahaha..Nowadays, the younger generation seems more interested having farewell party@fast food outlets. I wish I had such luxury back then..sigh.

One thing that never change is the stress of sitting for big exam. The thought of scoring good grades and excel in your favourite subject becomes your worst distraction during this period. I remember I used to think how’s my future going to be, will I continue to pursue my studies, what happens if I fail miserably in my exam and so on and so forth.. At 17 I guess that’s the year for you to decide your direction in life. By that time you have to know where you want to go and trust me, oftentimes, mature decision save the day!

Trying to get a good grade making us resorted to many unethical methods. Cheating is not possible since there will be someone watching over you. Have I ever cheated in exam? No. The sight of people cheating during exam makes me sick. Getting good grades by your own gives unparallel satisfaction especially when the question is tough. No pain, no gain! My message to all of you is be honest in everything you do and God will bless you with success. Nothing succeeds like success! J

Fishing trip

Last saturday I was resting watching tv when suddenly I got a phone call from my friend. He's my x-classmate and my old nemesis in counter strike. He invited me to go fishing with him, his usual activity on weekend. Since I’ve got nothing to do and thinking it was an opportunity to catch up with him, I agreed. At 2 pm I went out and met him. He was just started and readied his fishing rod on the river bank.

He looked trimmer now and he told me he had tried jogging and playing futsal to shed his extra weight for the past few months. I guessed it's working since the last time i met him, he was over 83 kilos! As we chatted, his fishing rod suddenly vibrated and he quickly raised his fishing hook. Yeah, he got his first catch and unfortunately a small one too..haha(I don’t know the name of the fish, so sorry for my lack of knowledge).

Soon, another fishing rod struck gold and yet he got another small one..

Well, that was his last catch. It seemed like no other fish interested with worms around that area, so we decided to shift place to the other end of the river bank, the water board pipe! This is where the water supply in my humble hometown comes from. 

He offered me his fishing rod and asked me to join him. I admited fishing was not my cup of tea but I took up the challenge and got dirty with slimy worms. Let’s just see who caught the biggest fish today! So as we chatted,…

the rod seemed untouched. Where on earth have those fish gone to? Due to this unnecessary stress my friend took out his cigarette and started ‘fogging’.

We talked about how to get rich by selling gecko. I heard a 500 g gecko can fetch up to RM 30,000. Is it true? Is it legal? Treating AIDS with gecko might be a new research but it may pose a threat to gecko. Poor gecko. It didn’t take long before my friend’s rod started shaking and this was what he got..

and another..and another. Lucky him. As my jealousy started to build up, i pretended to sing and mumbling to myself. What’s wrong with my fishing rod anyway!???? It’s 3.30 pm and I still couldn’t caught any swimming creatures. You know, my hometown is famous with mermaid tales. Maybe i should write something about it next time. Brief checking to my gear and he said I was using the wrong hook. I was so ashamed and felt like a complete moron. Being a good listener I changed the hook and prayed it better give me luck.

Again as we were waiting, we saw people transporting raw rubber from a loaded long boat..

The tauke bought the raw rubber from long houses along the river bank. My friend told me that nowadays a kilo of raw rubber could sell up to RM9. It’s sad to see people sacrificing their rubber plantation and convert them to palm tree. In long term, I don’t think palm tree can generate more income to the less fortunate. The workers were all from our neighbour’s country and you won’t get enough income if you have a small piece of land. I'm not a politician but I've been to rumah panjai(long house) deep inside a palm tree plantation. The villagers were happy since the opening of palm tree plantation has serve as a tool to upgrade their (non-exist) road to a red muddy lorry road. They were easily pleased.. Soon after, I got my first catch!!YEAH!!!!

As my eagerly awaited fish started to take the bait, I felt more confidence.  With my confidence soaring high I’ve become more excited and couldn’t sit comfortably. The result has put my big smile back on my face. My prayers were answered with my next catch.

That evening I went back with pride as I was able to caught three(small) prawns! J
